mmvr17HOTEL REGISTRATION AND VISITOR INFORMATION

All conference attendees must reserve and pay for their own accommodations.
MMVR17 will be held at the Hyatt Regency Long Beach http://longbeach.hyatt.com/hyatt/hotels/index.jsp

The Hyatt Regency will offer a specially discounted rate to conference attendees. Registration will open in August 2008.

For general information about Long Beach, California, visit http://www.visitlongbeach.com. Please note the section on “Transportation” under “Visitor Information.”

For air travel, Long Beach Airport (LGB) is very convenient. Taxi service to the hotel is reasonably priced. However, the number of airlines serving LGB is limited.

From Los Angeles International (LAX) and Orange County/Santa Ana (SNA) airport, travelers can use SuperShuttle for transportation to the Hyatt Regency. Reservations can be made at http://www.supershuttle.com . Please note that taxi service between LAX or SNA and the hotel is quite expensive because of distance and traffic.

If you want to explore the Los Angeles region using public transportation, visit the LA Metropolitan Transit Authority website, http://www.mta.net.

Long Beach offers a free WiFi hot zone in its downtown business district, along Pine Avenue near the Hyatt Regency. The covered area is only short walk from the hotel. For a map and other details, see http://www.longbeachportals.com .

In addition, paid access to T-Mobile wireless Internet is available within the Hyatt Regency lobby and sleeping rooms. There is also a pay Internet kiosk within the hotel.

If you have questions about the conference venue, please contact Jim Westwood, the program coordinator, at [MMVR17atNEXTMEDdotCOM].
