PRESENTER INFORMATION

Complete presenter guidelines will be announced concurrent with the Call for Presentations procedural guidelines in spring 2010. To summarize general logistics and participation requirements:

  • Oral and poster presentations are selected using abstracts submitted during the Call for Presentations. Abstracts consist of one- or two-page PDF files, with one page of research description and an optional second page with additional references and images with captions.
  • In addition, researchers may submit proposals for independently organized workshops, panel discussions, focus sessions, and other activities. Detailed guidelines will be posted in the near future.
  • Abstracts and proposals. are reviewed by members of the organizing committee. Acceptance is determined by committee reviews and in consideration of program space and other logistical concerns.
  • Each presenter must register for the conference. There is a limit of two (2) presentations per paid registration.
  • Presenters are given a discount from the ordinary registration. Registrations are transferable at any time to another presenter. Registration is required for publication the Proceedings. Registration will open in August or September 2010.
  • At this time, we expect IOS Press (http://www.iospress.nl) to publish the MMVR18 Proceedings as part of its series on medical informatics. Full papers will be simultaneous with announcing accepted presentations. Acceptance for publication in the Proceedings is subject to the review and approval of the editorial team. Submitting a paper to the Proceedings is encouraged but optional.
