THE NEXTMED CONFERENCE

Overview

NextMed is unusual among scientific conferences: it is intimate, multi-disciplinary, and entirely forward-looking. Instead of focusing on narrow issues, it encourages broad thinking and provocative exchange across a spectrum of fields.

Biotech and pharmaceutical researchers, corporate futurists, biomedical investors, and educators gather to hear what colleagues outside their realm are up to. The learning curve starts the first hour and ends the very last. Participants are rewarded with a horizontal view of emerging technologies that will alter healthcare - and our society - for decades to come.

Shaun B. Jones MD is the founder and program chair of NextMed. Dr. Jones leads participants' exploration of overarching relationships between presentations. His vision serves as a catalyst for the novel interactions NextMed creates.
